Biography Ide, Gakusui (1899 - 1982)

After studying Japanese-style painting Ide Gakusui lived in China between 1929 and 1946. Then he started making woodblock prints, mainly kuchi-e, bird-and-flower prints, which were published by Watanabe Shōzaburō.
