Biography Ishizaki, Shigetoshi (1901 - 1996)

No data from the second part of his life are available: we know he studied with Hiratsuka, and that he published his first prints in the early 1920s. He was a fairly well-known artist in the 1930s, a member of the Nihon Hanga Kyôkai from 1932, he contributed to Hanga, ánd he contributed a print, Miyajima, to the important series Shin Nihon hyakkei - 100 Views of new Japan in November 1940.
