Biography Watanabe, Yuji (1941 - )

Little biographical information is available about Yuji Watanabe. He was born in 1941, it is known that he studied with Kinoshita Tomio; in the 70s he made woodblock prints with a rather naive subject matter. Since then he has moved to brighter-coloured, sometimes semi-abstract, landscape prints, always printed with great refinement.
He is a member of the JPA (the Japanese Print Association).
