Biography Nitta, Jō (1905 - 1949)

Jō Nitta exhibited with the Nihon Hanga Kyōkai in the 1930s. He is know for a series of prints called Nanki fūkei - Scenes of Southern Kishū. He sometimes signed his prints "N" or "JN" carved in the block.
